CHILDREN'S DEPARTMENT

In everything we do, from nursery through sixth grade, it is our goal to nurture children into a growing relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Our priority is to teach the Bible, and through that teaching, to see our children develop a personal relationship with Christ. The Word of God says that children are valuable and precious and not to be regarded as trivial

(Mark 10:1hh3-16). For this reason, your children will be constantly taught and trained in God's Word. We are not babysitting but are ministering to your children. We are preparing a generation of world-changers that will be equipped with all the tools they need to get the job done for Jesus.

See-Do is an eight week series which is based on the verse of James 1:22 " Do what God's word says. Don't merely listen to it, or you will fool yourselves." We will explore different Bible stories to learn what it means to live out your faith in practical ways/ We will learn to "see the need and Do the deeds" to help others and please God

The children's Ministry at Fresh Start Community Church is an exciting ministry of the 3L's; Loving, Learning and Laughing. We believe that adults who love children, laugh a lot and believe that all children can learn make the best teachers.

Noah's Park & Club 5-6
We begin at 6:45 with Praise and Worship, Bible memory verse, and Puppet skits then divide into Noah's Park and Club 5-6.

K thru 4th graders will take a "walk" through Noah's Park's Discovery Trails with Teacher Feature/Bible story, Cozy Cave Crafts, Campsite Capers (games) and The Prayer &Share/ Snack Shack. Come "walk" with us and discover some of God's great wonders.

 

Club 5~6 is for 5th and 6th graders and is led by Johnny and Christina Grimsley. Class is designed for pre-teens to form a connection with Jesus as well as their peers.
Our goal is to equip 5th & 6th graders with the tools needed to battle the temptations and situations they will encounter moving from an elementary (preteen) to a junior high (teen) atmosphere. Basically, help them put on their “Christian Armor”. The kids in our class are either in public school, private school or home schooled. No matter where they are schooled they will certainly encounter normal “teen” temptations. We also encourage them to have open discussions with their parents, pastors or school councilors about the trials they will have as teenagers.
